Bonnie Gebhardt Scholarship Program

CRITERIA

THE BONNIE GEBHARDT SCHOLARSHIP/INTERNSHIPawards scholarship and internship opportunities for graduating high school seniors in the Grossmont Union High School District. The award amounts will vary depending on scholastic achievement and financial need.

High school students who plan on entering a two-year or four-year college or university are eligible.  Applicants must be pursuing a course of study in Floriculture/Horticulture/Agriculture (crops). Applicants must be San Diego County residents.

 

The Application Process

  • The Bonnie Gebhardt Scholarship/Internship Application can be emailed to eligible applicants by sending a request to Outreach@sdfloral.org.

  • Deadlines and Timing
    a. Completed Scholarship Applications and all accompanying documentation must be RECEIVED by the SDFA Scholarship Committee by June 31.
    b. Review by SDFA Scholarship Committee will be completed by July 31.
    c. Determination by SDFA Scholarship Committee will be completed by August 31.
    d. Scholarship award recipients will be notified and funds will be awarded in September.

Grant Award Amounts

  • Funds will be awarded up to $1000.00
